We use the very best fabrics from silks & chiffons to leather, to construct each of our bespoke dresses.

 

"I am a passionate artist who has chosen fashion design and meticulous garment construction as my art form. My inspirations stem from everything visual. The detail and linear forms that make up life as we see it. These can be found in historical art, architecture and fashion as well as nature and cultures.  Firstly, I am inspired by the fabric selected for a garment. The design happens after.  Exquiste dresses and garments require either unique intricate detail or classic simplicity in an elegant cut. Fit is everything. It creates comfort in what we choose to adorn ourselves in."

 

Qualifications: London City and Guilds Fashion Design Diploma with Distinctions. Fashion Design and Photography in art and design at Central Saint Martins in London.

Phumelela Zaya, Phumi as we know her, is our vibrant constructionist.  Phumi believes quality, timeless elegance and comfort are essential aspects in today's fashion.
 
"Quality and an appreciation for fabrics and creativity is my primary interest when apparel is concerned. Garments are not just to cover you and look good, but are an expression and an extension of one's self. I enjoy combinations of different textures, colours and fabrics. I love the fact that I can have fun with my wardrobe and not be limited to seasonal retail trends. Clothes have life and should be everlasting."
